Sk-10 Concealed Blade Packaging Cutter

The OLFA® SK-10 Concealed Blade Packaging Cutter with Tape Slitter can safely cut through packaging materials including shrink wrap, plastic straps, and boxes. 

 

OLFA's SK-10 Concealed Blade Packaging Cutter with Tape Slitter cuts safely through a variety of packaging materials. 

 

Simply slot the material to be cut just under the beak-like guide, and slide the cutter along. The guide slot will make sure that what is being cut stays in place as the cleverly concealed blade does its work, with the cutting force going in the right direction. The safe location of the blade reduces any risk of damage to both the user and the products being unwrapped.

 

Once the blade has worn out, simply flip open the blade cover and move the blade along a notch to get a fresh, sharp edge. Once that's blunt, reverse the blade to get two more sharp points; the total of 4 usable points of the blade (marked on the blade itself) means you won't have to worry about replacing the blade for a while. 

 

The SK-10 also has a built-in packaging tape slitter on the outside, which is not sharp, but effective at opening boxes, and safe. Its durable body is made from acid and acetone-resistant Nylon 6 Polyamide, and for added comfort, there is a thumb rest and anti-slip indents on the grip.
